Will Stephen be photographing my wedding?

Absolutely! Stephen Ludwig will always be your primary photographer on your wedding day—no exceptions. We never use outside or substitute photographers.

Do you travel off-island?

Yes, we love to travel! Interisland weddings are available for a very reasonable travel fee. Please inquire for a full price list for outer-island weddings.

What is your style?

That’s always a fun question, but hard to summarize! I’d describe my style as fresh, modern, and photojournalistic, with a creative mix of fine art and contemporary editing techniques.

What are professionally edited prints?

Great images aren’t just created in-camera—they’re refined through careful color correction and post-processing. Unlike many companies that outsource editing, every wedding photo is hand-edited by Stephen himself, ensuring consistency and quality in your final collection.

How many photos do you take?

On average, I capture about 200 photos per hour (often more, depending on the day). If there’s a great moment, I make sure it’s documented—but I don’t “machine gun” shots. Each image is intentional.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees here. You’ll only pay your package price, any optional add-ons you select, and Hawaii’s state tax (4.712%). That’s it.

Is there tax?

Yes. All wedding packages are subject to the standard Hawaii state tax of 4.712%.

What is shared copyright?

You’ll have full personal rights to your photos. That means you can print them anywhere, make copies for friends and family, and share on social media freely—no need to go through us.

How many photos will I receive?

Depending on your package (ranging from 2 to 9 hours), you’ll receive roughly 225–725 professionally edited images.

Do I receive the unedited images as well?

Yes! All packages include both the professionally edited photos and the original high-resolution color images, delivered on a convenient portable drive. Nothing is held back.

How do I reserve my date?

Reserving your date is simple: a signed contract plus a 50% non-refundable reservation fee (based on your total package price after tax) will secure your booking.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash and personal checks.

Do you offer a second photographer?

Yes. A second photographer can be added to any package (excluding the premium package) for a flat fee of $500. The premium package already includes a complimentary second photographer.
